photoshop ideas

In this example, I am experimenting with potential images for the front cover of my album. This picture shows the location we filmed Blazer's verse in, Broadwater Farm Estate. I thought this was a good image as it shows the immensity of the estate at the same time as maintaining the grey colours that we used in our own video.
This picture shows another, more interior part of the estate. The pathway could be used to represent the beginning of a journey, so putting an image of the artist(s) there would be ideal, as if they want to take the audience on a journey with them. This is also reminiscent of the lyric in our music video 'Creep with me, let's take a walk through the North', when Blazer is walking down a similar path which leads deeper into the estate. In addition to this, the rain also reflects the dreary nature of our album, as it address dark matters that are associated with our artist's lives.
In this example, I used the magic wand tool to crop out an image of barbed wire that I could utilise on the inside of my album cover. The fact that the wire is shaped like a frame could help me as it will be easier for me to fit into my design.
