Andrew Goodwin's theory.

In 1992, Andrew Goodwin published a book on Dancing in the distractions factory.

He argues that;
  • Music videos demonstrate certain characteristics. For example, stage performances within heavy rock videos, dance routines for male/female bands, throwing up signs in early hip-hop videos to represent a certain group and use the of females in gangster rap videos as it all started and now is in many platforms.
Here we can see even the audience throwing up the Roc Nation sign which represents a triangular pyramid.

Females are used in early gangster rap videos such a Tupac's and Biggie small's music videos. Then this evolved into a common thing as we now see in modern music video clips of women half makes revealing their figure and and adoring the attention the artists gives them to their own entertainment.

As we take a look at these top 10 rock bands, we identify the similarities of dances and moves they do while performing.
