HOW HAS MY RESEARCH DEVELOPED
last year during Media AS my group including myself had to create a film opening for a teen drama,so for my research i watched some clips from teen films,however these films were not specifically based on teen dramas, this meant that i had a broad understanding of the target audience and characters which star in teen movies but not specifically in teen dramas which meant i lacked knowledge in my specific field.
however this year not only have i been watching many music videos and using my previous knowledge of music videos , i have been viewing music videos which have the same genre of my own choice (hip-hop, rap) from my previous blogs it is clear that i also analyse these videos in great detail, visually and semantically this gets me used to things that are necessary in music videos thus making my future product (music video) more rich in quality,standard and entertainment. Finally one thing that has also helped me this year is the analysis and review of previous A2 students music videos, this is because the students had little or no budget in making them , which is what my group has, however the music videos i have seen show great potential which makes me think our group can be much better with applied knowledge , time and effort
